ATK Technology has officially introduced its latest wired keyboard, the RS6 Air, during a product event held last night. The new model continues the company’s focus on performance-driven peripherals and adopts a 65% layout aimed at gaming and professional users. The RS6 Air features ATK’s third-generation ULTRA magnetic switch solution. The technology enables a 32kHz full-key scan rate and a 256kHz single-key scan rate, with a transmission latency measured at 0.08 milliseconds and an end-to-end response latency of 0.28 milliseconds. These specifications are designed to reduce delay between key activation and signal response, improving precision during high-speed input.
Visually, the RS6 Air reflects ATK’s design language with a combination of functional and aesthetic details. The keyboard uses matte PC keycaps and incorporates a mirrored LED section on both sides, described as a “mecha-wing” lighting zone. The top surface includes the Light Blade logo and a laser-engraved metal nameplate, while the spacebar integrates five LED indicators that align with the product’s lighting theme.
Users can select between ATK’s Qian Yuan or Ice Blade switches. Both versions maintain a total travel distance of 3.3mm, with individual differences in actuation force. The Rapid Trigger adjustment system allows precision tuning in increments of 0.001mm, supporting customized key actuation levels according to personal preference or specific gameplay requirements.
The RS6 Air’s construction uses a rigid gasket mounting structure supported by an internal aluminum positioning plate. Inside the keyboard, five layers of padding are included to minimize vibration and enhance key stability. This layered configuration contributes to a firmer keystroke feel and consistent feedback across all keys.
