Razer Expands 4000 Hz HyperPolling Wireless Support to More BlackWidow V4 Keyboards

Razer has announced the expanded availability of its 4000 Hz HyperPolling Wireless technology for additional models in the BlackWidow V4 keyboard lineup. The update enables users of supported keyboards to achieve higher input speeds and greater precision during gameplay, further improving Razer’s position in the competitive gaming hardware space.

Originally introduced with the Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro 75%, this high-frequency wireless polling technology is now available on three new models:

  • Razer BlackWidow V4 Tenkeyless HyperSpeed
  • Razer BlackWidow V4 Low-Profile HyperSpeed
  • Razer BlackWidow V4 Low-Profile Tenkeyless HyperSpeed

This rollout broadens access to faster, more efficient wireless connectivity across different keyboard form factors, ensuring gamers can benefit from the technology regardless of their preferred layout or design.

The gaming industry continues to evolve toward lower latency and more reliable wireless systems, and Razer’s HyperPolling technology reflects this direction. While most gaming keyboards today use a standard 1000 Hz polling rate, which translates to a 1-millisecond response time, Razer’s 4000 Hz wireless polling technology quadruples this rate. This allows the keyboard to send up to four times more data per second, reducing latency to as low as 0.25 milliseconds in ideal conditions.

Combined with Razer HyperSpeed Wireless, which ensures a stable and interference-free connection, this higher polling rate helps players maintain smooth, consistent input performance. The result is more accurate key registration and improved timing, particularly valuable for fast-paced and competitive games.

Users can activate 4000 Hz wireless polling by updating their supported keyboards through Razer Synapse 4. The process involves two key steps: updating the keyboard firmware and pairing it with the HyperPolling Wireless Dongle.

To start, users should open Synapse 4 and check for firmware updates under the keyboard tab. Razer provides direct links to its support page where users can download the necessary updates. Once the keyboard is updated, the dongle can be paired by navigating to the HyperPolling Wireless Dongle tab in Synapse, selecting the compatible keyboard, and following the guided instructions. Synapse will also update the dongle’s firmware if required.

This process allows both existing and new users to take full advantage of the enhanced polling rate without needing additional software or a complex setup.

By extending its 4000 Hz HyperPolling Wireless technology to more BlackWidow V4 keyboards, Razer continues to refine its wireless performance across its gaming ecosystem. The brand’s consistent updates reflect ongoing collaboration with the gaming community, ensuring that product improvements address real-world needs rather than theoretical benchmarks.

For players competing at a high level, every fraction of a second matters. The addition of 4000 Hz wireless polling ensures that key inputs register faster and more reliably, giving players greater control during demanding situations.

This update strengthens Razer’s commitment to advancing the standards of wireless gaming peripherals. With faster polling rates and improved firmware support, the new BlackWidow V4 lineup offers an even more responsive experience suited for professional and enthusiast gamers alike.
