Glorious Gaming has announced the launch of its V3 series mice, introducing a new approach to wireless gaming through the InfinitePlay battery system. The series includes both wireless and wired versions of the Model O3 and Model D3, with upgrades in performance, durability, and customization.
Wireless gaming mice have long required periodic charging through cables or specialized pads, often interrupting gameplay. Glorious aims to resolve this with the InfinitePlay system, which uses hot-swappable batteries. Each V3 Wireless mouse comes with two battery packs, allowing one to be charged while the other is in use. Players can switch between them instantly without cables or delays.
To support uninterrupted use, the mice also feature a built-in Guardian Battery. This reserve battery provides more than 10 hours of power and ensures seamless operation during battery swaps. The Guardian Battery also functions as a backup source when the main battery is depleted, removing the risk of sudden disconnects during critical moments.
Performance has also been upgraded across the V3 lineup. The mice include the Glorious BAMF 3.0 sensor, delivering up to 30,000 DPI, 750 IPS tracking, and 50G acceleration. Durability is enhanced with optical switches rated for 130 million clicks, providing extended reliability compared to many existing options in the market.
The V3 Wireless models are bundled with the InfinitePlay charging hub, which serves as both a charging dock for the swappable batteries and a base for the 8KHz wireless dongle. The hub provides real-time indicators for charge levels, polling rate, DPI settings, and overall mouse status.
Despite their added features, the wireless models remain lightweight. The Model O3 Wireless weighs 66g, while the Model D3 Wireless comes in at 69g. For players preferring wired connectivity, the V3 series also includes lighter versions with flexible paracord cables, with the Model O3 at 54g and the Model D3 at 57g.
Customization is supported through Glorious CORE software, which offers options for button remapping, DPI adjustments, RGB lighting control, polling rate settings, lift-off distance, and debounce timing. This provides players with tools to fine-tune their setup according to their needs.
