Colorful has expanded its Intel 800-series motherboard lineup by listing the BATTLE-AX H810M-A WIFI V20, the company’s first model based on the H810 chipset. The listing appeared this month on Colorful’s Chinese website, adding a budget-oriented option to a product range that previously only included the Z890 and B860 models.
The H810 chipset serves as the entry-level tier of Intel’s 800-series platform, designed for users who need basic functionality at a lower cost. Colorful’s BATTLE-AX H810M-A WIFI V20 reflects this positioning by offering limited but essential connectivity, while also introducing features not always found in entry-level motherboards, such as Wi-Fi 6 support.

The motherboard adopts a non-standard 230mm x 210mm Micro-ATX form factor, which makes it slightly larger than typical compact boards. It is built with a 7+1+1+1 power phase design, paired with a single 8-pin EPS connector for CPU power delivery. To maintain thermal efficiency, the board includes a dual-zone cooling system that covers both the VRM and the chipset.
The H810 chipset restricts memory support to two DDR5 UDIMM slots, allowing dual-channel operation with speeds of up to 6400 MT/s. Expansion options consist of a single PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, directly linked to the processor, and one PCIe 4.0 x1 slot for add-on cards.
For storage, the motherboard provides two M.2 slots: one running on PCIe 4.0 x4 directly from the CPU and another operating on PCIe 4.0 x2 from the chipset. Additionally, there are four SATA III ports supporting traditional hard drives and SSDs.
Networking is handled by the Intel I219-V controller for 1GbE wired Ethernet, while wireless connectivity comes from the Intel AX101 module, enabling Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 support. Audio output is driven by the Realtek ALC897 codec.

Onboard connectors include one USB 2.0 port, one USB 5Gbps port, and multiple RGB headers (two 5V ARGB and one 12V RGB). Rear panel connectivity consists of one HDMI 2.0 port, one DisplayPort 1.4, four USB 2.0 ports, a 1GbE RJ45 port, two Wi-Fi antenna jacks, and three audio jacks.
The BATTLE-AX H810M-A WIFI V20 has been listed in China, though Colorful has not confirmed global release details. Considering its entry-level positioning, the motherboard is expected to retail in the range of $80 to $100 USD, making it a budget-friendly choice for upcoming Intel Core Ultra 200 series processors.
By introducing the H810 model, Colorful broadens its Intel 800-series catalog and provides an affordable option for users who want DDR5 memory support, PCIe 5.0 graphics compatibility, and integrated Wi-Fi 6 in a compact platform.
