At Gamescom 2025, MSI presented its latest lineup of PC hardware for enthusiasts. The company highlighted the X870E MAX Series motherboards built for AMD’s AM5 platform and unveiled the MEG X870E GODLIKE X Edition, celebrating ten years of the GODLIKE series.
MSI GODLIKE 10th Anniversary Special Edition
Launched in 2015, the GODLIKE series has remained MSI’s flagship motherboard line. To mark its tenth anniversary, MSI introduced the MEG X870E GODLIKE X Edition, limited to 1,000 units worldwide.
The board features Dynamic Dashboard III, EZ Link, and the M.2 XPANDER-Z SLIDER GEN5 with EZ Slide. Each unit ships with a golden nameplate, Collector’s Stand, and Black Lucky plush. Designed for enthusiasts, the GODLIKE X Edition also set a new overclocking record, continuing the series’ legacy of performance leadership.
X870E MAX Series: Next-Generation Motherboards
The X870E MAX Series introduces tools such as OC Engine and Direct OC Jumper, enabling precise BCLK control and real-time tuning. Connectivity improvements include 64 MB BIOS ROM, 5G LAN, Wi-Fi 7, 40 Gbps USB, and 10G LAN on MEG-class models.
MSI optimized PCIe lane bifurcation to support PCIe 5.0 GPUs and M.2 drives, ensuring full bandwidth utilization. Tool-free features such as EZ PCIe Release and EZ M.2 Installation simplify upgrades, making system building more convenient.
Cooling, Chassis, and Customization Updates
MSI also expanded its product lineup with new cooling solutions, cases, and accessories.
- MPG CORELIQUID P13 Series – Features a 2.1-inch LCD display, concealed tubing design, and UNI Bracket for AMD and Intel compatibility.
- MEG MAESTRO 900 Series – Includes a modular four-directional motherboard tray, expandable I/O panel, and custom liquid cooling support.
- MAG PANO 130R PZ – Offers a panoramic glass view, back-connect compatibility, and a rotatable PCIe bracket for GPU installation.
- MAG VIEW XPANDER 12 – Adds a 12.3-inch dual-mode display for compatible cases or desktop use.
- MAG A1000GL PCIE5 WHITE PSU – Delivers high wattage and all-white design, ready for GPUs such as the RTX 5080 and RTX 5090.
