Everstone Studio and publisher NetEase have announced that Where Winds Meet, the free-to-play open-world action-adventure RPG, will officially launch in the West on November 14, 2025. The game will be available on PlayStation 5 and PC, marking its first release outside of China.
The title originally debuted on PC (Steam) in China in December 2024, before expanding to iOS and Android in January 2025. The upcoming launch brings the project to a global audience and, for the first time, to console players on PlayStation 5.
In a post on the official PlayStation Blog, Everstone Studio’s lead designer Chris Lyu explained that the November release date represents the conclusion of more than five years of work. “We’ve crafted this game with care, pouring our hearts into every detail over the past five years, and we’re beyond excited to share it with the world,” Lyu said.
Ahead of the upcoming release, a final PC and PS5 test was held last month. Around that time, Lyu spoke to Wccftech about the studio’s vision for the project. “Our main goal has always been to share the world of Eastern martial arts in a way that feels new, exciting, and approachable for players everywhere,” he said. “We want to present something truly different, but also make sure it’s easy for everyone to connect with, using familiar language and storytelling styles.”
Where Winds Meet is set in an expansive open world inspired by Chinese martial arts and ancient history. Players can expect fast-paced sword combat, large-scale exploration, and narrative-driven quests. The game also integrates role-playing elements, allowing players to shape their journey through choices and progression systems.
With its confirmed November launch, Where Winds Meet is set to introduce Western players to Everstone Studio’s martial arts world across both PC and PlayStation 5. The global release is scheduled for November 14, 2025.
