OneXPlayer Introduces Super X Gaming & AI Tablet with AMD Ryzen AI MAX+ 395 APU

OneXPlayer has unveiled its most advanced portable system to date, the Super X Gaming & AI Tablet, built to deliver desktop-class performance in a slim, portable design. Known for creating high-end handhelds, 2-in-1 PCs, and compact gaming laptops, the company’s latest Tablet targets gamers, content creators, and professionals who need both portability and performance.

At the heart of the Super X is the AMD Ryzen AI MAX+ 395 APU, a 16-core processor based on the Zen 5 architecture. It integrates Radeon 8060S graphics with 40 compute units, offering GPU performance comparable to an NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti. The APU also incorporates AMD’s XDNA 2 NPU, capable of delivering up to 50 trillion operations per second (TOPS) for AI-enhanced applications.

The tablet supports a dual storage system, featuring one M.2 2280 slot and an additional Mini SSD PCIe 4.0 expansion slot. Memory configurations include 64 GB or 128 GB of RAM, with the capability to allocate up to 96 GB as VRAM for demanding workloads such as high-resolution gaming and large-scale model processing.

The display is a 14-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 2880×1800 (2.8K). It offers HDR, variable refresh rate (VRR), and supports 4096 levels of stylus pressure, making it suitable for both gaming and creative work. The CNC-machined aluminum chassis measures just 12.5 mm in thickness, making it one of the slimmest devices in its category.

Connectivity options include:

  • 2 × USB-C (Thunderbolt 4)
  • 1 × HDMI output
  • 1 × USB-A port
  • 1 × DC power input
  • 1 × Mini SSD (PCIe 4.0) slot

To handle its 120W TDP, the Super X uses a high-efficiency vapor chamber cooling system, ensuring stable performance under heavy load. The rear panel includes subtle RGB lighting, while the 173-degree kickstand allows adjustable viewing angles for different usage scenarios.

Pricing is expected to start above $1,500 USD, positioning the Super X as a competitor to devices such as the ASUS ROG Flow Z13, which currently retails from $2,000 USD. Availability details are yet to be confirmed, but the product is aimed at users seeking a portable yet powerful computing solution.
