GameSir Introduces G7 Pro Multi-Platform Controller with TMR Stick Technology and Expanded Customization

GameSir has officially launched the G7 Pro, the latest addition to its controller lineup, designed to deliver enhanced performance and flexibility for gamers across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Steam, and Android devices. The GameSir G7 Pro is available now for $79.99/£79.99 through Amazon US, Amazon UK, Best Buy, and the official GameSir website.

Building on the design of the G7, G7 SE, and G7 HE models, the G7 Pro introduces several notable upgrades. It is the first Xbox-licensed controller to feature GameSir’s Mag-Res TMR stick technology. This combines the low power consumption of standard potentiometers with the precision and durability of Hall Effect sticks, aiming to reduce drift and maintain consistent accuracy. The controller supports a 1000 Hz polling rate when connected via wired or 2.4 GHz wireless modes on PC, providing faster input response for competitive gameplay.

In terms of control features, the G7 Pro is equipped with Hall Effect analog triggers for smooth linear input, micro switch trigger stops for tactile feedback, and a hair trigger mode for faster actuation in competitive scenarios. It also includes four customizable macro buttons—two mini bumpers (R5/L5) and two lockable back buttons (R4/L4)—plus a gyroscope for motion control on PC.

The controller’s ABXY buttons use optical micro switches for a crisp response, while the mechanical micro switch D-pad provides precise directional input. Four independent rumble motors—one in each grip and trigger—deliver localized vibration feedback.

Customization options include a three-part magnetic swappable faceplate, which is compatible with faceplates from the G7 series, and two additional D-pads for alternative control layouts. The G7 Pro is bundled with a charging station that includes a built-in 1200 mAh battery for extended wireless play and integrated storage for the wireless receiver. Audio support via a 3.5 mm jack is available in both wired and 2.4 GHz wireless modes.

The controller is fully compatible with the GameSir Nexus 2.0 software, enabling users to adjust gyroscope settings, stick sensitivity curves, and remap buttons. The package includes the controller, charging station, receiver, two D-pads, cable retainer, and a 3-meter USB Type-C cable. The G7 Pro offers multiple connection options: wired mode for Xbox consoles, wired and 2.4 GHz wireless modes for PC, and Bluetooth for Android devices. A physical mode switch allows quick platform changes, while a detachable cable retainer ensures a secure wired connection.

The GameSir G7 Pro is positioned as a versatile option for players seeking a single controller for multiple platforms with strong customization and build quality.
