G.SKILL has announced its new T5 Neo series DDR5-6400 CL38 memory kit, offering a total capacity of 512GB through eight 64GB R-DIMM modules. This DDR5 kit is developed for AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO processors and is compatible with WRX90 chipset motherboards. It is designed for use in high-performance workstations that require large memory capacity and bandwidth for professional tasks.
The T5 Neo series supports AMD EXPO memory profiles, allowing users to enable optimized performance settings with compatible systems. Each module is built using a 16-layer PCB, which improves signal stability and reliability under continuous high-load scenarios. This is especially important in professional environments where workloads like simulation, video production, 3D rendering, and machine learning require sustained memory performance.
With 512GB available in a single kit, the T5 Neo series is intended for systems handling large datasets and complex multitasking. Applications such as AI model development, data analytics, and high-resolution media processing benefit from this level of memory capacity. G.SKILL validated the kit using an AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9945WX CPU and an ASUS Pro WS WRX90E-SAGE SE motherboard, confirming its support for enterprise-level hardware.
To provide added protection and consistent power delivery, the modules include built-in voltage safeguards. Each stick is equipped with two bi-directional TVS diodes and a fuse to help protect against sudden voltage spikes. These features aim to reduce the risk of hardware damage and enhance long-term reliability, especially important in systems running critical applications.
The 16-layer PCB layout marks an upgrade from typical lower-layer designs. This structure ensures stronger signal integrity, reducing the chance of instability or performance issues during overclocked operations. Running memory at 6400 MT/s across eight modules in demanding environments requires careful engineering, and this kit is built with that in mind.
G.SKILL has stated that the T5 Neo DDR5-6400 CL38 512GB (64GB x8) memory kit will be available through its global distribution partners starting August 2025. This release expands G.SKILL’s range of memory solutions for professional users building high-performance AMD-based workstations.
