Naya has officially launched the Naya Create, a modular split keyboard that was first introduced at CES earlier this year. The keyboard received two CES Innovation Awards and secured over $1 million in funding through Kickstarter. It is now available for order, with shipments scheduled to begin in late July 2025.
The Naya Create is built for a range of users, including software developers, business professionals, and creative workers in audiovisual and 3D fields. Its design focuses on ergonomics and customization, addressing common issues associated with fixed-layout keyboards.

The keyboard features a hinged split layout that allows each half to tilt independently by up to 27 degrees. This design supports a more natural wrist posture and helps reduce strain during extended typing sessions. The columnar-staggered key arrangement aligns keys with finger movements for more efficient input.
Each key supports hot-swappable switches, enabling users to change between Kailh Mini-Choc linear, tactile, or clicky options without soldering. The keyboard uses a metal unibody for structural durability and low-profile polycarbonate keycaps to reduce wrist extension. According to post-purchase surveys from Kickstarter backers, 75% of users cited improved ergonomics as a primary factor in their purchase, and 70% reported better workflow efficiency after adopting the keyboard.

A key feature of Naya Create is its modular input system. The keyboard can integrate up to four magnetically attached modules:
- Track: A trackball module for navigation and fine adjustments in professional software.
- Touch: A high-quality touchpad with customizable gesture zones for everyday tasks.
- Tune: An input dial with haptic feedback and a touch-sensitive surface for precise control in creative workflows.
The modules are managed using Naya Flow, a software tool that enables drag-and-drop key mapping and configuration of the connected modules.

For connectivity, Naya Create offers Bluetooth 5, low-latency RF, and USB-C wired options. The keyboard also supports wireless charging and includes RGB-W lighting for visual customization. Each unit comes with a hard shell travel case, switch samples, and a keycap puller. The company emphasizes environmentally friendly packaging, using recyclable and biodegradable materials.
The Naya Create is priced at $499.99 MSRP. Orders are now open through the company’s website.
