YUNZII has introduced the X98 Transparent Mechanical Keyboard, a compact 96% layout keyboard designed for users seeking advanced customization and a unique design. The YUNZII X98 combines tri-mode connectivity, full QMK/VIA support, and a transparent shell to deliver a versatile option for gaming, productivity, and creative work.
The X98 features a high-transparency polycarbonate (PC) case and clear keycaps that reveal the internal components and allow RGB lighting to shine through. The keycaps use 3D-printed legends designed to resist wear over time. With south-facing RGB LEDs and 16.8 million color options, the keyboard offers extensive lighting effects that can be customized through VIA software.
For users looking for full control over their keyboard layout, the X98 supports both QMK and VIA firmware. This enables advanced functions such as key remapping, macro programming, layer adjustments, and lighting configuration. A programmable rotary knob is included, pre-configured for volume control but fully adjustable to suit other functions like scrolling or application switching.
