At the 2025 Taipei International Computer Show, HYTE introduced its latest addition to the PC case market—the X50 series chassis. Marking a departure from the sharp, angular lines seen in previous models, the X50 series adopts a more rounded design throughout, from the perforated front panel to the tempered glass side panels. This design shift brings a softer, more modern aesthetic while retaining the performance features expected from a mid-to-high-end PC chassis.

The X50 series places a strong emphasis on thermal performance. HYTE has overhauled the airflow system, implementing a multi-ventilated design across nearly every surface of the chassis. The front panel, right-side panel, back panel, and bottom panel all feature perforated metal for improved ventilation. Internally, the layout supports a total of ten 120mm fans: three on the bottom, three on the front, three on the right-side panel, and one on the rear. Users can also install up to two 360mm radiators—one on the front and one on the right side—offering flexibility for custom cooling setups.
The X50 features a tool-free disassembly system that allows both the side and front panels to be removed without any tools, simplifying access to internal components and hardware upgrades. Inside, a dedicated PSU shroud helps isolate and hide ATX power supplies, promoting a cleaner overall look and more efficient cable management.

HYTE is offering the X50 in two versions. The standard model comes in six color options—white, black, red, pink, green, and purple—and features tempered glass side panels. Meanwhile, the X50 Air version trades the glass panels for dual-layer perforated metal on the sides, aiming to maximize airflow. The X50 Air will be available in black and white only.
In terms of pricing, HYTE has positioned the standard X50 at an estimated retail price of $150, while the X50 Air comes in slightly lower at $120. As of now, the company has not announced an official release date, but further availability details are expected to be shared in the coming weeks.
With the X50 series, HYTE appears to be targeting users who value both form and function. The combination of enhanced airflow, support for multiple cooling configurations, and a modern exterior design positions the X50 series as a strong contender in the mid-tower case segment.
