NZXT Launches N9 Z890 and N7 Z890 Intel ATX Motherboards, Optimized for Intel Core Ultra Processors

NZXT has introduced two new motherboards, the N9 Z890 and the N7 Z890, designed to support the latest Intel Core Ultra desktop processors. These ATX motherboards cater to gamers and PC builders looking for high performance, robust connectivity, and seamless integration into their gaming setups.

N9 Z890: High-End Performance for Enthusiast Gamers

The N9 Z890 is tailored for PC gamers aiming to build top-tier gaming systems. It provides the necessary tools and thermal capabilities for overclocking Intel Core Ultra processors, ensuring stable and reliable performance under heavy workloads. The N9 Z890 integrates a 20+1+1 power stage design with 110 A Smart Power Stages (SPS) for enhanced power delivery and an 8-layer low-loss 2oz copper PCB for stability during overclocking. Additionally, its advanced thermal design includes a VRM heatsink array, fin stack, heat pipes, and dual PWM fans, ensuring efficient cooling. The motherboard supports PCIe 5.0 for high-speed storage through its M.2 slots and includes four additional PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots for expanded storage options.

The N9 Z890 also comes with four dual-channel DDR5 RAM slots, enabling faster load times and improved multitasking capabilities. In terms of connectivity, it features Wi-Fi 7, 5.0 Gb ethernet, Bluetooth 5.4, and Realtek ALC4082 high-fidelity audio, making it ideal for gamers who require fast network speeds and immersive sound. Its integrated NZXT RGB lighting and newly designed metal cover provide a sleek look, while easy customization is possible with NZXT’s CAM software.

N7 Z890: A Balanced Solution for PC Builders

The N7 Z890 refreshes NZXT’s motherboard lineup with a focus on balanced performance and power efficiency. The 16+1+2 power phase design with 80 A DrMOS ensures efficient power delivery for Intel Core Ultra desktop processors. Like the N9 Z890, it features support for PCIe 5.0 and offers three additional PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots for storage expansion.

The N7 Z890 comes equipped with four dual-channel DDR5 RAM slots, improving both performance and multitasking abilities. Its connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, 2.5 Gb ethernet, and Bluetooth 5.3. The N7 Z890 also features NZXT RGB lighting and two 8-pin combo fan headers for easy integration of NZXT RGB Core fans. Its aluminum VRM heatsink and dedicated PCIe 5.0 M.2 heatsink ensure reliable thermal performance.

Connectivity and Customization

Both motherboards offer the latest high-speed connectivity standards. The N9 Z890 supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, while the N7 Z890 is equipped with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. The new metal covers, combined with integrated RGB lighting on the N9 Z890, allow for personalization, especially when paired with NZXT cases. NZXT’s CAM software enables users to control and synchronize RGB lighting, fans, and other components, offering flexibility for customized setups.

Availability

Both the NZXT N9 Z890 and N7 Z890 will be available in Q1 2025 in black or white, allowing builders to match their components to their overall build aesthetic.
