Yesterday (August 30), renowned insider Jasper Ellens (@JasperEllens) shared exclusive images of the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro sports camera packaging on the X platform.
The leaked retail packaging reveals that the Osmo Action 5 Pro will feature a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor, an f/2.8 aperture, and an expansive 155-degree field of view. Notably, the camera boasts an impressive 4-hour battery life.
A standout feature of the Osmo Action 5 Pro is its “professional audio recording” capability, which connects to DJI Mic. However, details on how this differs from the previous Action 4 model remain unclear. The packaging also highlights enhanced autofocus with “greater precision” for capturing sharp and clear footage.
While pricing and release date information for the Osmo Action 5 Pro is yet to be announced, experts at TechRadar predict a price point of approximately $399 / £379 / AU$ 629, considering the seemingly incremental upgrades.
Stay tuned for more updates as we await official announcements from DJI.
