NuPhy has officially launched the Air75 V3, a low-profile wireless mechanical keyboard that introduces several key improvements over its predecessor, the Air75 V2. The new model features a redesigned body structure, long-travel mechanical switches, and an upgraded gasket mounting system aimed at delivering a more refined typing experience.
One of the most notable changes is the inclusion of Gateron’s latest low-profile switch, the Gateron Low-Profile 3.0, which also appears in NuPhy’s higher-end Kick75 keyboard. These switches provide a longer key travel distance of 3.5mm, which is significantly more than typical low-profile switches. The intention behind this change is to offer a typing feel that is closer to traditional mechanical keyboards while maintaining a slim profile.

The keyboard’s body has also undergone a structural overhaul. It now includes new materials and a revised internal design that supports a gasket-mounted structure. This setup is designed to improve keystroke consistency and reduce vibrations, which could result in a quieter and more comfortable typing experience. The front height of the keyboard is listed at 13.2mm, maintaining a compact and ergonomic form factor.
For keycaps, NuPhy is using two-color injection-molded PBT in its proprietary low-profile nSA profile. PBT plastic is often preferred for its resistance to shine and durability over time.

The Air75 V3 supports three connectivity options: 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.1, and wired via USB Type-C. A 4,000mAh built-in battery powers the device, and NuPhy claims it can last up to 1,200 hours without backlighting. When using the RGB backlight, battery life ranges between 60 and 100 hours, depending on the brightness and effects.
Additional features include a battery indicator light and support for hot-swappable knobs, allowing users to replace or customize them according to personal preference. These knobs can be used for volume control or other assignable functions.

NuPhy has confirmed that the Air75 V3 will be available for pre-order through its official website before July 10. The keyboard is priced at $139.95.
With these updates, NuPhy appears to be targeting users who want the portability and form factor of a low-profile keyboard without giving up the typing depth and performance typically found in full-size mechanical boards.
